Inside and Out

After a weekend of painting we have glistening white walls in the living room and up the stairs. For years we vowed when we finally own our own house the one colour we wouldn't paint it would be white, but with light streaming through 14 windows and a south facing garden we decided white suits it best. And what better to hang my paintings off?

And this morning we woke up to a healthy amount of snowfall - snow in winter is a bit of a novelty in this country. It's become more common to have it late spring if at all so my daffodils will be safe this year. Now where are my wellies...

Lovely - nearly monochromatic! (I can't say that I'm missing the snow here, although there is fog aplenty).
