Reflect

This horiztontal motif has stayed with me for a good few years now, and I never really figured out why. Lines of trees, dry stone walls, city skylines. Compositionally I like the way clear skies and undisturbed landscapes are broken by the upright jagged lines. Emotionally they feel like a rhythm, a pulse - music on a stave, an EKG.

What am I saying? No idea. Don't think, just feel.

sometimes it just defies explanation doesn't it? The linear always has a sense of progression I find. Like this very much
