Momentum - IF and IMT
It's been a while since I've taken part in either Illustration Friday or Inspire Me Thursday and I've realised lately I've kind of lost my momentum where my art is concerned. I have been concentrating on my crafts and building up my etsy shop but on reflection this has got a lot to do with the fact I have lost my way a bit. I've started a few canvases but get so far through them when I get stuck and don't know where to take them.
Illustration Friday and Inspire Me Thursday were both instrumental in pushing my art forward when I started blogging so what better place to go. Momentum is the theme for IF, limited palettes the subject of IMT, the above is the resulting artwork, a digital collage, all original photography. Not sure what it's saying but I love it.

It's gorgeous, Karen :) I totally sympathise, as I seem to have forgotten that I have a creative bone in my body lately... not good, is it?! Glad to see your beautiful work again. Lovely to be reminded of how much fun I had with IMT & IF, too!

it's inviting my eyes into the ethereal layers...the colors do have a mystery to them. nice!
I like the dreamy quality to it.
So many layers does make it very dreamy...I just keep looking deeper and deeper into it...
